The lord has His consort, Akhila Valli Nachiyar seated on His left thigh, His left hand encircling her and holding a discus. His raised right hand holds a conch.

In this temple, marriage ceremony of the lord is conducted 360 days in year. Those aspiring to get married, can offer puja to lord Adi Varaha and the Goddess through offer of two garlands. The aspirant is also at times asked to wear a garland and walk around the deity of the temple. The garlands of the Lord and His consort are returned to the aspirant after the pooja but the person has to return it to the temple after his or her marriage.
Lord Narayana is said to have come to this place to Kaalava rishi as a bachelor and married his 360 daughters in one year. On the last day, lord Vishnu is said to have merged all of them together to become his single consort.
